Another creature for an open, weightless atmosphere. Not from the same evolutionary lineage as the four winged beasts in 'Shadow of the Sun', but from the same environment; these are quadrilaterally symmetrical. They fill a similar niche as trigger fish on earth, browsing small creatures from sessile lifeforms, in this case among huge drifting web forests. Their four fins undulate for movement, like those of a cuttlefish.

This is a sketch; I will develop the creature further, possibly in to a 3D model. I will post developments on my blog.

they live in space right? I don't think their flippers would be of much use without air... they would need some sort of organic jet propulsion thing to get them through space! :)

They do not live in a vacuum. They live within an atmosphere a little denser than Earths, but not centered on a planet. Think a dense nebula
