Lovely! I know it's a real model, but with the feature-less white glow behind it, I can't shake the feeling that it's a superb render of a 3D model.

In any case, it's beautiful, and I am jealous.

Very nice model. Peter Jackson is widely known to be a WW1 aviation buff and I believe is also associated with The Vintage Aviator Company in New Zealand ([link]) which builds First World War aircraft for films ("Fly Boys"), wealthy collectors, and enthusiasts. Vintage aviation is also a passion of mine but my interest lies with between-the-wars and post WW2 general aviation types.

I've also heard that Jackson is involved in a remake of "The Dambusters" but will be using CGI as there are currently only two airworthy Avro Lancasters in the world...

Man, I first thought this was a 3D model until I looked carefully at it and its description. It's beautiful!
